Aims
- Further career development after school and beyond jobs as teachers
- To explore and discover new skills
- To network with other artists from all over the world
- To earn a living alongside teaching jobs


Approach and Lessons learned
While the social media marketing session focused on targeting and marketing strategies, Regina’s delivery complemented with strategies for creating relevant content for the various platforms.
Both sessions focused on using online media platforms for business promotion.
- First time delivering training online.
- Although I have had a lot of meetings and presentations online,
- I had never delivered training virtually.
- I developed skills in using the Blackboard platform, for organizing meetings, delivering presentations, using the padlet as a tool for documentation.
- Learnt how to work as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary and international team. This gives me a sense of Belonging
- Rewarding experience.
- Sharing my knowledge and experience with the students was my way of giving back.
- The feedback from the students and enthusiasm during the session made the experience worthwhile.
- Learnt a lot about The Gambia from the students and organisers.
