The Coronavirus Pandemic has propelled us to think more widely about how we can create a sustainable difference for the young people and communities that we work with in the Gambia. The Daughters of Africa NGO has a broad range of partnerships in the Gambia which includes the University of The Gambia, Ministry of Education, National Centre for Art and Culture and several schools, Gambia College and Gambia Technical Training Institute, plus community organisations. They also have twenty youth leaders from a range of schools and colleges who have been sharing their frustrations with learning during the lockdown. The pandemic has highlighted the fragility of education in the Gambia.
